Forest Grove, Ore., January 7, 2002, INSERTA FITTINGS Co., recently announced the expansion of its INSERTA TEE® line of patented, side service connections to include a new Corrugated Polyethylene Non Gasketed Bell pipe fitting for stormwater and drainage applications. The Corrugated Polyethylene Non Gasketed Bell INSERTA TEE is a three-piece service connection consisting of a PVC Hub, Rubber Sleeve and Stainless Steel Band. The bell end of the Corrugated Polyethylene Non Gasketed Bell INSERTA TEE accepts 4” (100mm) through 12” (300mm) Corrugated Polyethylene laterals and the spigot end can be cut and shaped to compression fit into any concrete, clay, solid or profile PVC and solid or corrugated polyethylene pipe mainline.

INSERTA TEE installations allow easier grading of mainlines and ensure that side services can be installed exactly where they are needed. Tapping existing installations can be accomplished without disturbing bedding, and it is not necessary to tighten and re-tighten bands around the mainline. INSERTA TEEs also eliminate the need for glues, epoxies and awkward gaskets -- they are economical and quick and easy to install.
