Large Diameter Sewer Taps

When it comes to connecting large diameter lateral lines to mainlines, Inserta Tees are the answer. Currently there is no Wastewater or Storm Water pipe made in North American we cannot tap and we do it up to 18” outlets. We produce all the hole saws needed. All Wastewater connections are designed to be watertight and air testable.

Prior to Inserta Tees, tapping large diameter pipes was expensive and many times on ongoing maintenance issue. The traditional method was to break out the wall of the pipe and grout a lateral line in. Frequently, this effort resulted in a long term I & I problem. The other option was to cut in a Tee using large diameter couplings. This method is expensive, requires shutting down the line, and creates different flow lines by using different materials. Large Clay and Concrete fittings are not available so frequently PVC or DI fittings were cut in.

We produce hole saws to core all Sewer pipes so drilling is not an issue. We offer a variety of outlets to connect to whatever lateral line is being used. Our parts are watertight and for Sewer lines air testable. Clearly Inserta Tees are the way to go for all your large diameter connections.
