| Can you air test an Inserta Tee? |
| Yes, go to our
Testing Info area and you will see we air test higher in many cases than the pipe we are connected to. Every fitting we make is designed for air testing. In some cases they don't but we have found it is because of the pipe, such as "Corrugated Metal Storm" pipe. |
| How big an outlet can we get? |
| Inserta Fittings now can offer up to 18" outlets. |
| How long does it take to have a special Inserta Tee made? |
| We ship almost complete everyday. It's rare that we cannot ship an order in 24 hours. |
| Do Inserta Fittings require a special hole to be core? |
| Yes, and we make hole saws for every type of pipe from concrete to plastic. The larger hole saws become expensive so we sell them and we rent them. |
| Will the local Wastewater Agnecy approve the use of Inserta Fittings? |
| They should but many have never used our product. The Public Utilities that have are a long list that includes Seattle, Sacramento, Portland, Indianapolis, Los Angeles County and many more. We would be happy to speak with your Public Utility and explain our product to them. |
| Do you need special tools and lubricant to install an Inserta Tee? |
| No, once the hole is cored a 4 lb. hammer, a length of wood (4" x 4"), and our soapy water lube (provided with purchase) is all you need. Do not use pipe lube as it is way too slippery and will not allow the Tee to seat. |
